Why I became an optometrist
“The main reason I wanted to become an optometrist was to make a direct difference in people’s lives. Whether it’s something as simple as prescribing spectacles or as significant as diagnosing a tumour or a systemic disease such as diabetes through an eye exam, the impact is truly rewarding.”
What motivates me
“The advancement in technology and the services optometrists can now offer motivates me hugely. I love talking to my patients and building a relationship with them over time.”
Outside the practice
“I was born in Bradford and later moved to London. I am a mother to twin boys, and outside the practice you will usually find me on the tennis court or planning our next family trip, travel is a real passion of mine!”
